Released: 2026-02-24
Scala 40 is an Italian card game played with two French decks and jokers.

Players form sets and runs to reach at least 40 points and lay down their first combinations.

Each turn, players draw and discard, trying to optimize their hand and use their own or opponents’ combinations.

The first player to run out of cards wins, while the others add up the points of their remaining cards.
How to play
Your task is to be the first to get rid of all the cards, making combinations of them before your opponents.
Gameplay Tips

Prioritize forming combinations early to reach the 40-point threshold and lay down your first set. Keep an eye on opponents' discards to anticipate their strategies and block potential combinations. Use jokers wisely—save them for high-value cards or when you're close to completing a critical run or set.

Game Features

Scala 40 is a strategic Italian card game played with two French decks and two jokers. The objective is to reach at least 40 points by forming sets (three or more cards of the same rank) and runs (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit). Players take turns drawing and discarding cards, aiming to be the first to lay down all their cards. The game ends when one player runs out of cards, while the others tally the point values of their remaining cards. Jokers can be used as wild cards to complete sets or runs, adding flexibility to card combinations.
