In Ninjas Return, you play as a ninja on a mission to rescue his wife from the evil Dark Ninja. Each level is set in a forest environment where you must collect exactly three pink stars to unlock a magical portal at the finish line. Once all stars are gathered, a shower of sakura leaves falls as the portal opens, allowing you to advance to the next stage. The final level holds your wife, waiting to be saved. You control movement with the left and right arrow keys, jump using the up arrow key to avoid obstacles, attack enemies with the A key to swing your sword, and throw your chain using the S key for long-range combat. The game features a linear progression through multiple levels, each requiring careful exploration and combat strategy.
